Meet Our Team

Steve Tribble
President

After completing the CVECA apprenticeship program and working through the early 1980’s during an economic recession, Steve Tribble started Tribble Electric in 1983. The Company began working with several farms in the area installing and repairing electrical equipment.  From there, by word of mouth, the company's operations grew into a small commercial and residential clientele. Having the support of, his then-girlfriend and soon-to-become wife, Dody, the business grew from working in the basement of their house to an office/warehouse space in Henrico County. In 1994 he purchased and developed the land where Tribble Electric Building is today. Steve has always taken pride in having his family join the business and contribute to its success.  Realizing how quickly demands and technology advances in the electrical industry, he diversified his services to include not only residential and commercial but also electronics and low-voltage systems. Steve built his reputation on “Always do what you say you will do” and “Do the right thing”. Steve’s hobbies include working on his farm, bicycling, Clay Target Shooting, reading, and spending time with his wife at Myrtle Beach.
Robert Snyder
General Manager

The electrical industry has been a part of Robert’s life since high school where he attended an electrical trades program as a working student. From construction and remodeling to maintenance and service work, his journey through the field positions resulted in Robert becoming a Master Electrician in 2005. Robert has led several teams to success in the field, in the office, and in the classroom with providing career development plans and positive insights into the trade business. His arrival at Tribble Electric in 2022 was welcomed by a team of passionate, customer-focused employees eager to serve the electrical construction and service industry. In addition to his business responsibilities at Tribble, for 10 years of his career, Robert was a lead instructor for Central Virginia Electrical Contractors Association’s apprenticeship program. One non-negotiable inside of Tribble’s DNA that resonates the most with Robert is respect. This non-negotiable is important in all aspects of life he states. From coaching baseball, teaching apprentices, leading teams, building relationships, and raising a family – respect is important. His first Journeyman Electrician he worked under provided guidance and training while expressing a professional style and leadership approach that is still honored to this day. Robert is a proud father and husband who enjoys the outdoors, baseball with his son, and attending his daughter’s dance recitals. Robert has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 19 chickens! Two fun facts about Robert include that he has never owned a Chevrolet and wanted to be a computer programmer before finding his niche in the electrical trade industry.
